Biography




Biography

Petar Subotić was born on 6th March 1994 in Kotor. He completed his primary and secondary education in Tivat.

He enrolled at Faculty of Civil Engineering in 2012/13 academic year. He completed his studies on 10th March 2015 with GPA 9.34 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

In academic year 2015/16 he started his postgraduate specialist studies in Structural Engineering.  He completed his studies on 16th March 2017 with GPA 9.65.

In academic year 2016/17 he started his postgraduate specialist studies in Geotechnics. He completed his studied on 22th September 2017 with GPA 9.83.

He won annual student award of Tivat Municipality in 2017.

In academic year 2017/18 he enrolled at postgraduate master studies  in Structural Engineering. He passed his exams envisaged in ECTS course catalogue with GPA 10.00. He is currently working on his master thesis.

At the Faculty of Civil Engineering he completed his nine-month internship in 2016. He participated with the support of his mentor in the teaching activates, student assessment and student learning consultation.

From 1st October 2017 he works as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, for several courses such as Steel and Timber Structures and Geotechnics.

He is a member of the expert teams who translated and drafted  the national annexes of the following Eurocodes: EN 1993-1-1, EN 1993-1-2, EN 1993-1-8, EN 1993-1-9, EN 1993-1-10 , EN 1993-2 (Steel structures), EN 1995-1-1 (Timber structures), EN 1994-1-1 and EN 1994-1-2 (Composite steel and concrete structures). He is a member of the European Convention for Constructional Steelwork(ECCS).

 

He is fluent in English and German.
