Senate

The Senate of the University of Montenegro, first-instance academic body, is an expert body that decides on issues related to teaching, scientific, artistic and professional activities of the University. It consists of the rector, vice-rectors, academic staff representatives and student representatives, in accordance with the University Statute.

Minimum 50% of members shall be full professors of the university out of total number of members of the Senate.

Jurisdiction, number, composition, term of office, appointment and dismissal method, as well as working method and decision-making of the Senate shall be regulated by the Statute of the University of Montenegro.
