CSA Conference- a scientific event of global significance in April
The main scientific event that will be held next month and gather scientists from all over the world, is the annual Conference of the Montenegrin Sports Academy, scheduled to be held in Dubrovnik, from April 4th to 7th, 2019. It is officially confirmed by image I brojke??? As chairperson of the Conference, DUsko Bjelica, PhD assessed.
‘The record statistics mostly shows this Conference. Almost 200 scientific papers have arrived from around 360 authors from around 50 states. Now, we may surely say that the CSA Conference is listed not on;y among leading sports scientific congresses in the Western Balkans, but it acquired its own identity in the world. It is at the list of the most prestigious world events of the UNESCO’s International Council for Sport Science and Physical Education * ICSSPE’, Professor Bjelica said.
The Conference titled ‘Sport, physical activity and health: contemporary perspectives’, is organized by the Montenegrin Sports Academy, the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro and 12 partner faculties for the EU and region states.
‘Our organization team has prepared all for the following conference. Names of plenary, world renowned lecturers in the field of science and sports, that will attend the Conference, are known. The call for two following awards is opened: for the best young researcher and the best woman in science, beside to lectures on call and workshops. The training of the Central-European Exchange Program for University Studies- CEEPUS, on the topic ‘How to prepare, write and publish scientific work in sports science’, Professor Bjelica states the activities.
All current topics, discussions and possibilities of a new networking, projects, at all fields of sports science, including also knowledges in the fields of medicine, biological, health sciences, behavioral, social sciences, humanistic, artistic and social research, politics and practice related with contemporary perspectives of sport, physical activity and health, will collect in one place.
Scientific papers will be represented at the Conference, and abstracts will be published in the collection of abstracts, while papers will be published in two scientific journals of the Montenegrin Sports Academy and in one partner journal. It is about the Sport Mont, the Montenegrin Journal of Sports Science and Medicine, as well as in the Journal of Anthropology of Sport and Physical Education, indexed in prestigious world international bases.
This event has 16 years-long tradition, so far it was held in Bar, Kotor, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Budva and Podgorica. It gathered 350 participants from 24 countries in last year.
The book of abstracts Abstract Book, edited by Bjelica, PhD, Stevo Popović, PhD and Selcuk Akpinar, PhD, was published on the 16th conference and it is available at:
