The Faculty offers a large number of courses that cover almost all aspects of contemporary social life. The above is also proven by the fact that a large number of former students of the Faculty of Political Science actively participate in and manage the social and political trends of Montenegro, thus showing that this higher education institution offers knowledge and skills that can be used in practice.

Is it necessary to take an entrance exam to enroll in the facultys study programs?
There is no entrance exam required for enrollment in undergraduate studies. When it comes to the enrollment procedure, as well as the ranking system of applied candidates, this is defined by the Regulation on the conditions, criteria and procedure for enrollment in undergraduate studies of the University of Montenegro.
Do I acquire practical knowledge during my studies?
The Faculty of Political Science, in order for students of this faculty to be competitive in the national and international labor market, also emphasizes the acquisition of practical experience by students during their studies within the framework of mandatory practical classes in all three study programs. Students in the final years of the Political Science-International Relations Study Program can attend internship programs that the Faculty has contracted with various institutions in Montenegro, such as embassies, the Office of the President of Montenegro, ministries, agencies, municipalities, and non-governmental organizations. Students can attend these internship programs independently of the Professional Training Program of the Government of Montenegro, and they represent an opportunity to acquire valuable practical knowledge and work experience. The curriculum of the Media Studies and Journalism Study Program provides for the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills through the subjects Practice in Online Media and Practice in Electronic Media. Within the framework of specialized journalism courses, practical classes are organized in print publications, on portals and TV stations in Montenegro and the region. Students are involved in numerous extracurricular activities through guest lectures by academic staff from the region, well-known journalists, through workshops on current topics and projects implemented at the Faculty of Political Sciences. Students of the Social Policy and Social Work study program perform their internships in a wide range of institutions and organizations, including public institutions such as social work centers, nursing homes, day centers for children and youth, and specialized institutions for rehabilitation and resocialization. They also have the opportunity to acquire practical skills in health institutions, such as the Clinical Center and the Institute of Public Health, as well as in non-governmental organizations that deal with the protection of the rights of children, women, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
Where can a graduate of the Faculty of Political Science get a job in Montenegro?
Graduates of the Faculty of Political Sciences can work in diplomatic and consular missions, state agencies and administrations, ministries and municipalities, various types of media, as PR managers in institutions, organizations and private companies, as media analysts in the non-governmental sector, centers for social work, non-governmental organizations, hospitals, schools, international organizations, as well as in various state institutions. Through its programs, the Faculty of Political Sciences empowers students to improve their skills outside of regular education, so that they can take advantage of the opportunities that can be offered to them in the EU. To this end, the Faculty organizes a large number of research projects, international conferences and scientific forums, and develops and promotes intensive international cooperation.
