Tested cadets and juniors of FC Podgorica

Professors at the University of Montenegro Faculty for Sport and Physical Education measured the selection of juniors and two selections of cadets of FC Podgorica, after they also had tested seniors who were training for the continuation of Telekom 1st Montenegrin Football League championship.

Measurements with innovative equipment, which works on the principle of bioelectric impedance, were attended by sports director Vojo Pejović, junior coaches Igor Lukovac, Aleksandar Mitrović and Dragan Đurović, as well as cadet coaches Miloš Đalac, Damir Alković and Goran Miranović and got a complete insight into morphological diagnostic indicators, percentage values ​​of subcutaneous and visceral fats, skeletal muscle mass, information on the degree of hydration, metabolic parameters, as well as a complete segmental analysis of the body.

The measurements were also realized by full prof. Duško Bjelica, PhD. docent Jovan Gardašević, PhD, docent Ivan Vasiljević, PhD, as well as IT Engineer Miodrag Zarubica.

Professor Bjelica pointed out that for proper planning and implementation of the training process, it is necessary to adhere to certain principles.

“As a result of numerous physiological and morphological examinations, the basic laws of the development and adaptations to the influence of training loads in the training process have been determined,” concluded professor Bjelica.
