The Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Montenegro has allocated 110 slots for enrollment for the new 2024/25 academic year. The faculty is dedicated to higher education, scientific research in the field of civil engineering, and solving problems in the design, construction, and operation of structures such as buildings, industrial facilities, roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, dams, embankments, water supply systems, and sewage systems.

The faculty educates professionals who, in addition to technical knowledge, possess an understanding of legal regulations, economic disciplines, and business psychology, thus preparing them for the modern market. During their studies, students have the opportunity to improve through study stays abroad, thanks to active international cooperation programs.

Practical training is a key aspect of education at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Students participate in the preparation of graphical works, professional reports, fieldwork, laboratory exercises, professional excursions, and visits to current construction sites. A well-equipped laboratory allows students to monitor and conduct various tests of construction materials and structures.

There is no entrance exam for admission to the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The ranking list of applicants is based on their success and results achieved in high school.

Graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering participate in the implementation of construction projects throughout Montenegro, the region, and beyond. Many choose careers in science and research, working at universities and research centers.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering was established on July 2, 1980, by the decision of the Workers Council, in response to Montenegros need for higher education in civil engineering, especially after the devastating earthquake of 1979. The establishment of the faculty in Titograd completed the network of technical faculties at the University, then called "Veljko Vlahović." This year, as the University of Montenegro celebrates 50 years of operation under the slogan FuturUM, the Faculty of Civil Engineering plays a key role in enhancing the Universitys reputation on the international stage, contributing with innovative research and the education of highly qualified professionals recognized both domestically and in Europe.
