Invitation for Students to 9th 2BS Forum
Respected students,
Atlantic Alliance of Montenegro organizes the ninth 2BS Forum (TO BE SECURE FORUM), which will be held in Budva, Splendid Hotel, from May 30th to June 1st, 2019. Forum became prominent and very important reunion in Southeast Europe for Montenegrin, regional and other international prominent representatives in recent years. Young professional from Montenegro will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and to contribute to the discussion on the most important dilemmas in the field of international security. The participation of the highest foreign officials and experts from different field guarantees high-quality discussion.
In the focus of ninth 2BS Forum will be a few key items that currently present a problem for regional and global security frameworks, especially those that concern Euro-Atlantic community. Forum will present the platform for discussions of the growing importance and need for increasingly presented role of the Western Allies in something what currently looks like as transformational framework for the Western Balkans.
In fact, region together with the rest of Europe is going through the so-called ‘’great return of geopolitics’’, the growing influence of Russia, China and Turkey to strengthen their role and influence in the region by combining economic and political initiatives, and apparently offer new formats of the Western Balkans.
Forum will pay special attention to the 70th anniversary of NATO, the importance of this organization for European and world security in last seven decades, as well as the way in which it shaped the world in which we live today and its role of crucial importance for challenges and changes that await us in the future. In addition, Forum will give the space for discussions on the consequences of more presented approaching campaigns of disinformation and propaganda, approaches to confronting and combating against false news, together with current and substantive topics that form and develop international relations, and therefore the future of Europe as well as the rest of the world.

Participation in 2BS Forum will be provided for the first ten registered students.
There are no participation costs for students, but transport and accommodation costs are not covered.
