PROMOTION OF PUBLICATIONS OF THE HISTORICAL INSTITUTE AT THE IX INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR IN PODGORICA

On September 27, 2023. at 7:00 p.m. at the IX International Book Fair in Podgorica, the promotion of the editions of the Historical Institute of the UCG was held, namely: Montenegro and Serbia - in the reports of diplomatic representatives of Serbia from Cetinje 1897-1918, Montenegrin Gasser, Vatican documents on the history of Montenegro I - Reports "ad limina" of the bishops of Kotor to the Holy See (1592-1708), Marubi and Montenegro, and Montenegro on the political and cultural map of Europe - Clio Map. An overview of the Institutes publishing activities during 2023 was first presented at this promotion by Acting Director. director and head of the Editorial Board at the Institute of History, Dr. Dragana Kujović, then their editor, Dr. Radoslav Raspopović, spoke about the mentioned publications, and finally, Dr. Ivan Laković, deputy director for science and member of the Editorial Board at the Institute of History, presented the books.

Dr. Radoslav Raspopović is the editor of the publication Montenegro and Serbia - in the reports of the diplomatic representatives of Serbia from Cetinje 1897-1918 and co-author (the other author is Branko Bogdanović) of the illustrated monograph Montenegrin Gaser with the Protocol on the sale of revolvers for the years 1894-1895-1896-1897. Dr. Antal Molnar collected and prepared the documents for the first book in the edition of the Vatican documents on the history of Montenegro, under the title "ad limina" reports of the bishops of Kotor to the Holy See (1592-1708). The photo-monograph Marubi and Montenegro was prepared by Radoslav Raspopović, Ph.D., Tatjana Koprivica, Ph.D., and Slavko Burzanović, Ph.D., while the collage monograph Montenegro on the Political and Cultural Map of Europe - Clio Map was created as a result of work on the Institutes scientific research project of the same name and gathered texts by 28 authors from the country and abroad.
