The Faculty for Sport and Physical Education Organizes Online Presentations of Study Programs for High School Graduates

First held online presentation of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro, was only the initial presentation that will continue for high school graduates in the coming period. According to Vice- Dean for teaching at this Faculty, Assistant Professor, Danilo Bojanic,PhD, the Faculty will hold an online promotion every week, as long as there is interest.
Students can find information about online presentation on the page of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education within the official website of the University of Montenegro, as well as on the Facebook page of the University of Montenegro.
"During first online presentation, future students may obtain adequate information related to admission exam, study programs, modules," Bojanic says.
At the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, they have two reformed study programs when it comes to undergraduate studies, namely: the study program Physical Culture and Healthy Lifestyles and the study program Sports Journalists and Coaches. All high schools in Montenegro have the possibility for admission.
Vice-Dean Bojanic explains that undergraduate academic studies of Physical Culture and Healthy Lifestyles take practical admission exam and consists of a polygon of dexterity and agility, testing elementary swimming competence, handling the ball in 4 basic team sports (football, handball, basketball and volleyball), 100 meters running. In the study program Sports Journalists and Coaches, candidates take admission exam in the form of a general knowledge test.
"We still do not have reliable information when admissionexam will be organized and everything depends ondevelopment of epidemiological situation in the country and the position of competent authorities," Vice Dean Bojanicsays, stating that one of the most common questions was date of admission exam.
Moreover, future students asked what title a student acquires and what are the opportunities for employment, after graduation of the study program Physical Culture and Healthy Lifestyles.
In online presentation, it was explained that the student acquires title of graduate professor of physical culture, works in education system - within which he/she conducts teaching and extracurricular activities at all levels of education.
"The graduate student may participate in the teaching process, use elementary knowledge in elementary, social and biomedical sciences and impart it in a logical, systematic and understandable way. He/she may, of course, coordinate the work and manage sports institutions, then, if he/she has the affinity, lead in sports sector from club to federation. He/she may also organize recreational programs on a scientific basis and monitor their health effects, as well as work with children and youth in sports organizations, sports schools and other organized sports groups, " Vice Dean Bojanic said.
