Commencement of the Summer Semester at the Faculty of Economics to Be Celebrated by a Traditional Manifestation Named THE RIGHT START
The manifestation will be organized in the period from February 18th- 22nd, 2019. Aim of the manifestation is that students get useful and important information through different forms of extra-curriculum activities so to improve quality of their studying process.
Manifestation THE RIGHT START includes 5 events.
First event will be organized on Monday, February 18th, with beginning at 09:00h at Mediterranean Hall. The guest will be President of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Vlastimir Golubovic. Mr. Golubovic will hold a lecture to students on subject ‘Business in Montenegro, Challenges and Chances’.
Tuesday, February 12, 2019 is reserved for the Dean Hour that will be organized in the Mediterranean Hall with the beginning at 10:30h. Open communication of the Faculty Management with students is a positive practice of our institution.
Third event within the manifestation will be the lecture of a member of the Board Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Zorica Kalezic, on Wednesday, February 20th, in the Mediterranean Hall with the beginning at 10:30h. The lecture is an opportunity to acquaint students more detailed with the role of International Monetary Fund in monitoring global growth, developing financial markets and prevention of crises.
On Thursday, February 21st, 2019, with the beginning at 13:15h in Amphitheatre ‘Montenegro’, will be organized the projection of a documentary named ‘Inequality for Everyone’ that follows a former US State Secretary Robert Reich in his efforts to pay attention of the public on a growing economic gap in the state with consequences both in economy and the US democracy. Centre of the story is a simple question – what is a good society and how a drastic difference in wages of individuals reflects on economic health of the nation? The film will be discussed by Jovan Djuraskovic, PhD, with students.
At the end of the manifestation, on February 22nd, at 18:00h, in the Mediterranean Hall, Club of Rock N Roll Fans will organize a social event with the projection of domestic film – a candidate for Oscar, that remarkably speaks about the good and the evil in a person, conflict of generations and primal need for realization of the actual you.
