Second day of the event The Right Start at the Faculty of Economics was dedicated to students ‘questions. Students were talking with Nikola Milovic, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty, Boban Melovic, PhD, the Vice-Dean of Education, Sasa Popovic, PhD, Vice-Dean of International Cooperation and Zdenka Dragasevic, Assistant Professor, coordinator of academic studies during dean‘s hour. Among many questions of students, especially those related to studying by new a study model 3+2+3, the speed of adoption of material as well as students efforts to attend a large number of tests and exams in short terms were mainly emphasized. Additionally, students were told that thanks to numerous agreements signed by the Faculty with representatives of business community, they may read almost daily competitions for professional practice during studying, what is the opportunity that would undoubtedly need to be taken. Moreover, numerous lectures organized by the Faculty of Economics with the aim to provide information and experience to students are very helpful that’s the reason why they should be more visited.

International Cooperation of the University and many opportunities for students to spend part of their studies abroad represent one of the most positive experiences of students, with suggestion that information within this process should be more visible on the Faculty website and the Faculty Management expects to upgrade it in the future.

The Dean Hour is a unique opportunity for students to ask questions related to studying at the Faculty of Economics and to get answers from ‘horse’s mouth’. This practice is very important because only open communication between students and those who govern the Faculty may lead to a higher quality of studying at the Faculty of Economics.

Third event within the manifestation will be lecture of Zorica Kalezic, PhD, member of the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro in Mediterranean Hall on Wednesday February 20th, at 10:30h. The lecture will be the opportunity for students to become more familiar with the role of International Monetary Fund in monitoring global growth, development of financial market and crises prevention.
