Historical Institute at the "Days of Science and Innovation 2023"

The Historical Institute of the University of Montenegro will present part of the results of project activities as part of the 11th festival "Days of Science and Innovation 2023" organized by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development.

On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in Barutana, (Podgorica), a workshop will be held: Culture of Remembrance - Memorial to the Fallen Fighters of Lješanska Nahija, intended for students of grades VII-IX elementary school classes. Students will learn about the history of Montenegro at the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century, the reasons for erecting the Monument to the Fallen Fighters of Lješanska Nahija, the architectural work of Svetlana - Kana Radević and the relationship to the monumental heritage of Montenegro.

On Thursday, September 28, 2023, in the period from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the City Mall, Cetinjski put bb, in Podgorica, the CLIO MAP application will be presented. In this application, available on Google Play, which was created as one of the results of the project "CLIO MAP - Montenegro on the political and cultural map of Europe", more than 220 cultural assets from Montenegro, from prehistory to the end of the 20th century are presented. The working team of the project will present the methodology of work on the preparation of the application, the way to use the application, the creation of chronological and thematic thematic routes, etc.
