Regional Connection of Successful Faculties- Cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and the SEB University from Ljubljana Agreed

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro and the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana (SEB) will cooperate closely in the field of academic integration and scientific research work. This was confirmed by the Cooperation Agreement signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Nikola Milovic, PhD and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Ljubljana, Metka Tekavcic, PhD. The signing was also attended by the Ambassador of Montenegro in Slovenia H.E. Mr. Vujica Lazovic.

Considering the international reputation, regional recognition and leadership position of partners from Slovenia on the one hand, and the fact that the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica started the process of gaining international accreditation on the other hand, the two higher education institutions will focus their cooperation in three key directions: providing expert assistance in the exchange of information and the organization of training for the Faculty of Economics staff in order to meet the criteria of the European Accreditation Agency EFMD, then help in conceptualizing and launching the English language program at the Faculty of Economics, as well as jointly organizing the Summer School to be held in Montenegro.

Dean Milovic and Dean Tekavcic expressed mutual satisfaction over the close cooperation, especially emphasizing the importance of regional networking of academic institutions, and agreed to encourage academic and student mobility, exchange of literature, as well as cooperation in scientific and technological projects.

The signing of the Cooperation Agreement was organized during the fourteenth Bled Strategic Forum, which was organized between August 31 and September 3 in Bled. This year's Forum ("Re) sources of (In) stability", which is dedicated to the role of resources in maintaining peace and security, sustainable development and economic progress, brought together the presidents and prime ministers of the leading countries of the world, representatives of the most influential international organizations, academia and business of the world.
