Faculty of Sports and Physical Education: With European researchers on improving physical activity in children and youth

Representatives of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro participated today in the first meeting of this year's global association Active Healthy Kids. This non-profit organization brings together researchers and health professionals to work together to improve the physical activity of children and youth around the world, since 2014.

The Faculty of Sports and Physical Education has been a member of this association since 2020, and on behalf of the Faculty, docent Bojan Mašanović, PhD and docent Jovan Gardašević, PhD, in addition to the leaders of research teams from Estonia, Germany, Greenland, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania and Luxembourg.

The meeting discussed the preparation of the Repot Card annual report (Global Matrix 4.0 project), the activities of children and youth for the previous period.

Also, they talked about the possibility and funding of research in Europe, as well as about better organization of work and synergy between researchers, and finally about future meetings.

We remind you that last year, during the time of closure, due to the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, a world record was set through this organization - a joint online exercise for 5,000 people from all over the world.
