Cooperation agreement between Faculty for Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro and colleagues from Turkey

The Faculty for Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro and the School of Sports Science and Technology at the University of Nevsehir have established official cooperation. Heads of the Faculty from Nikšić, Assoc. prof. Stevo Popović, PhD and Assoc. Prof. Selcuk Akpinar, PhD from Nevsehir have set new goals of cooperation today.

According to Popovic, the established cooperation will have multiple significance for both institutions, especially when it comes to exchanging students, teachers, associates and researchers, as well as carrying out joint scientific-research projects.

"This agreement envisages the joint organization of training schools and seminars, as well as the exchange of professional literature, textbooks and other publications. The exchange of experience is of particular importance in the field of information systems and communications, "added Akpinar.

Popovic added that he also expects significant support from the Rector of the University of Nevsehir, Prof. Mazhar Bağlı, who welcomed the planned activities and promised that he would pay special attention to the realization of projects in the field of sports sciences.

This agreement is twenty-fifth in a series of bilateral agreements of the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro with foreign higher education institutions in the field of sports science, which were signed since the founding of the Faculty in 2008.
