Postgraduate Studies of Sports Management May Be Admitted by the Students outside the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education
40 budget-financed vacancies are proposed on postgraduate specialist studies of Physical Education, while on study programs Sports Management and Sport and Fitness are proposed 30 self-financing vacancies at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education.
.Danilo Bojanic, Assistant Professor, the Vice-Dean for Education explains that postgraduate specialist studies of Sports Management may attend the students of the same conditions from Economy, Management and Tourism next to the students who get Bachelor degree (180 ECTS) on programs Physical Education, Sports Journalism and Sports Coaches.
He adds that Sport and Fitness may enroll all students with finished undergraduate studies on programs Physical Education, Sports Journalism and Sports Coaches, while postgraduate specialist studies of Physical Education may be enrolled by only those students who finished the same studies.
‘’After finished postgraduate specialist studies of Physical Education, primary and high schools are not the only institutions where the staff finished academic specialist studies of Physical Education may start an employment relationship. The need for this sector is found in special military and police services because of wide range of professional skills, who finished some of the study programs of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Niksic, they usually employ this staff’’, Bojanic said.
With constant growth of tourism in Montenegro and the construction of tourist complexes equipped with facilities and courts for sports and recreational activities, there is a growing demand for the staff educated at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, Bojanic considers.
‘’Students educated at the study programs of Sports Management and Sport and Fitness may start a job as managerial staff in various sports organizations, clubs, sports sections, fitness centers, tourism complexes..’’, he concludes.
