Cooperation with the University Universi in Pristina Considered

Professors and associates from the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro visited the University Universi in Pristina and with representatives of the University talked about the cooperation of these two higher education institutions.

Kosovo higher education institution educates staff from physical education and sport, as well as nurses. Particularly noteworthy is publishing activity and the Sport Diagnostics Center.

Dusko Bjelica, PhD, and associates Jovan Gardasevic, PhD, and Vasiljevic, MSc, were in the delegation of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education.

Fadil Luta, Jeton Havoli, Fitim Arifi, and Sami Sermaxhaj colleagues from the University of Kosovo introduced them with the work of University and they implemented pilot tests to present the equipment of their Diagnostic Center.

 ‘’We are especially impressed with the testing equipment possessed by the colleagues from Pristina and with their wish to cooperate. Therefore, our visit is organized after the anthropometric measurements we implemented with football players of junior national team of Kosovo, as the part of the mission of expanding of scientific database on morphological characteristics of athletes in the region’’, Jovan Gardasevic, PhD, the associate at the University of Montenegro emphasized.

He concluded that the word is about respectable possibilities of cooperation from which may be expected scientific benefits.

The next step is an official agreement between Stevo Popovic, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education and the management of the University of Universi’’, Gardasevic announced.
