The Agency for Quality Control and Assurance in Higher Education (AQCAHE) has approved the accreditation of the Master’s degree program in Information Security in the English language, led by the Center for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies at the University of Montenegro.
Information Security is the second study program at the University of Montenegro in which students will attend classes and take exams in the English language. The duration of this master’s program is two years, with a scope of 120 ECTS.
The significance of this study program lies in the implementation of key national strategies. According to these strategies, Information Security is recognized as a crucial factor for creating a stimulating environment necessary for continuous economic development and digital transition.
Furthermore, the program is aligned with the strategic framework of other European countries that consider the development of educational modules in the field of information security as an essential operational objective. This initiative aims to ensure an inclusive response to the risks arising from the (mis)use of information and communication technologies.
