International Summer School about Entrepreneurship in Heritage Tourism on FTHM UMNE

The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management of the University of Montenegro organizes the second international summer school "Entrepreneurship in Heritage Tourism" in the period from September 4th to 8th, 2023. The summer school, accredited within the Erasmus+ CBHE project "Strengthening internationalization at universities in Montenegro through effective strategic planning (IESP)" was designed to enable students and young professionals in the cultural/tourism sector to acquire modern knowledge and skills in the field of cultural tourism, cultural heritage management, sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation in heritage tourism. 

As part of a five-day interdisciplinary summer school held in English, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the modern challenges of entrepreneurship, development of new tourist products and designing experiences in heritage tourism in a dynamic and intercultural environment. In addition to the theoretical part, the program also includes field teaching and research, when participants will visit some of the most important cultural attractions in Montenegro, participate in tourist tours and analyze examples and techniques of sustainable tourism valorization of cultural heritage in the Bay of Kotor. 

After finalizing the school, attendees will be given certificates with 2 ECTS credits. Detailed information may be found in brochure attached, and applications are possible until 01.08.2023, via LINK or email kotorsummerschool@ucg.ac.me.
