The Faculty of Dramatic Arts - Cetinje, University of Montenegro implements an international academic cooperation project called UniValens (Overcoming Cross-border Educational Programs Recognition and Equivalence limitations), which is supported through the South Adria IPA - Small scale program and which is implemented in cooperation with the University of Arts in Tirana , Albania and "Aldo Moro" by the University of Bari, Italy.
On the occasion of May 15 and 16, 2024. the third "Incoming Mission" (Incoming Mission - Montenegro 1.2.1 entitled: "Focus on the Montenegrin procedures for the international validation of educational programs") was held in the "Management Board Hall" in the Rectors building of the University of Montenegro, which aimed to analyze and compare in detail the procedures for international recognition/recognition of educational diplomas and programs.
The incoming mission was implemented according to the Agenda, which you can find in the appendix of this announcement and which was responded to by numerous actors who are an integral part of the national and international ecosystem of procedures for the harmonization of standards and procedures in the accreditation of study programs.
The incoming mission to Montenegro was relayed immediately after the incoming mission that was held on May 13 and 14 at the University of Arts in Tirana and which also brought together numerous national agencies, the most important administrative bodies for implementation and quality control, and numerous relevant academic stakeholders. in procedures and processes of (re)accreditation of higher education programs.
The UniValens project deals with the identification and comparative analysis of administrative and legal procedures for the potential creation of joint diplomas at the masters level of education that would be valid in all three countries (Italy, Albania and Montenegro). The identification of the best practices in the field of transnational and European education is analyzed from the point of view of various stakeholders and from the point of view of their organizational capacities with the participation of experts for European comparative legislation and experts (one for each country) for local legislation in connection with the procedures for accreditation and recognition of joint degrees in areas of humanities, and primarily deficit academic areas, which have the potential to generate new academic interests.
All participants of the Incoming Mission in Montenegro according to the Agenda presented their previous work as well as future work plans arising from the scope of their competences and the services they provide to users. In this direction, during the Incoming Mission to Montenegro, representatives of numerous academic bodies and competent national agencies from Montenegro and from the University of Montenegro and other public cultural institutions took part in the two-day conference, such as: Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, Agency for control and quality assurance of higher education of Montenegro, Ministry of Culture and Media, representative of the ERASMUS National Office, representatives of the Office for Projects of UCG, representatives of the Quality Control Office of UCG, representatives of the Office for International Cooperation, representatives of the Center for Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies of UCG -a, representative of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UCG, representatives of the Montenegrin National Theatre, "Kraljevsko pozorište" JU - Zetski dom - Cetinje and representatives of the JU Gradsko pozorište, Podgorica.
At the very beginning of the first day of the conference, the order addressed the gathered participants officially. prof. Dr. Vladimir Božović - rector of the University of Montenegro, and during the continuation of the welcome speeches, representatives of partner institutions joined Paolo Ponzio, head of the "DIRIUM" department of humanistic studies from the University of Bari, as well as the director of "Teatro Publico Pugliese", that is, the president of the Consortium of Public Theaters Puglia, Italy, Lino Manosperta project manager and Sandro Furio from the organization of the same name, Federico Zecca from the University "Aldo Moro", Bari, Pjetr Guralumi from the University of Art in Tirana as well as numerous other guests from partner organizations and from the home University. The working meetings were joined in the role of moderator of the sessions: Assoc. Dr. Sara Vujošević – Jovanović, Full time. Prof. Janko Ljumović, Assoc. prof. Dr. Vuk Vuković and Assoc. prof. Dr. Edin Jašarović, as well as representatives of departments in the Government of Montenegro responsible for monitoring the implementation of IPA projects: Slađana Šešić from the Ministry of European Affairs and representative of the Ministry of Finance in the Government of Montenegro (in the role of FLOC-o "First level of control") Kristina Dušaj.
The results of the working meetings were the implementation of the first phase of the project, which consists of the organization of a joint seminar and the three already mentioned incoming missions, which ended on the second day of the conference in Podgorica, after which there will be a period of reporting on the first phase of the projects implementation and implementation in the coming period. other planned activities in the second reporting period of the UniValens project.
