Why this play?
We exist because humanity finds ways to convince us that despite all the events on personal and societal levels, there is a reason why we live. However, some people decide that life is not worth the effort and wish to leave voluntarily. Voluntary death is a specific human act where we decide about our existence. It may be that at that moment, they see it as control over their own life, which is not possible in a given context or moment. Perhaps avoiding pain and complex emotions, the silence of our loved ones, or a continuous crisis convinces us that we are superfluous. This is the moment when life does not feel worthy or dignified. It is the moment when there is no condition for our well-being.
Our lives unfold in difficult circumstances, making well-being as a characteristic of mental health or a good life elusive. Art is there to show us the way, lift the lids from our eyes, guide us to question or point out what seems invisible but feels like a dark vortex, like a black sun. Art is our helper, expanding the field of possibilities, lifting us to our feet, transforming the scream of the soul "over which the sun has changed its mind" into a channel through which we can reach awareness, balance, or a kind of restlessness that directs us to life. It is an action that helps us reach, understand, and justify our own vulnerability and collective misfortune. In its embrace lie answers that can fill our dry reservoirs of being and lift us out of the pit we have fallen into.
Ultimately, art is intentional, finding good in everything. It offers possibilities for us to work, produce knowledge necessary for the development of individuals, communities, and public good. Therefore, let us gently embrace the benefits it offers and remember that we are dust.

Why these roles?
Jovana Brnović:
"Is it nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wishd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, theres the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: theres the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;"
Hamlet, William Shakespeare
Mina Mićović:
Let us strive to be good to ourselves so that we can be good parents to our children tomorrow. So that our children do not suffer because of our sins. An unhappy mother gives birth to an unhappy daughter, and so the cycle continues. This world lacks conscious and responsible parents, so let us not blame the children but start with ourselves and set a good example.
