Exceptions and Talents May Enroll the Faculty of Dramatic Arts before High School Graduation

The entrance exam, as additional condition for enrollment at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Montenegro involves checking of individual skills for creativity in professional and artistic field, and checking of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills.

Relja Erakovic the Vice-Dean of Education of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Montenegro expressed the hope that the candidates who pass the entrance exam and gain the right to enroll at one of the study programs of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in 2019/20 academic year will be better than their predecessors in all fields, and they will not have an easy task, he emphasizes.

'' Proposed number of students for enrollment to undergraduate studies for 2019/20 academic year for academic study programs of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts is: Acting- 10 candidates, Drama and Theater- 12 candidates, Film and Media-13 candiates'', Erakovic said.

The right of enrollment at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, he adds, have all those candidates with finished IV-1 sublevel of the National Qualification Framework such as: gymnasium, licensed religious high school and all specialized high schools.

 ‘’Exceptionally, professional and artistic study programs of undergraduate studies of Academy of Arts may be enrolled by candidates who have not completed the high school, if they pass the entrance exam’’, Erakovic said.

Scoring the overall success of enrollment, success on external or professional exam, success in two subjects of importance for continuing the education, success in entrance examination, ‘’Luca’’ diploma and won the first or second prize in the high school competition, is established by the Rulebook on detailed conditions, criteria and procedure for enrollment in the first year of undergraduate academic studies of the University of Montenegro.     


Practical teaching must be included as an integral aspect of regular teaching, and as a separate entity next to the compulsory lectures, consultations, exercises and field work when the word is about the teaching method at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Erakovic said.

Exchange programs innovate lectures, enabling the connection and opening the door to new public at prestigious universities of art in Europe.

 ‘’Students involved in Erasmus programs within their residence, attend lectures and take exams which will be accepted after returning, and they experience exchange programs as the part of their studies’’, Erakovic concludes.
