Project S2A Sport Mobility: Defined Guidelines for Improvement of Skills of Sport Administrators

Initial meeting gathered eight prestigious European organizations in the field of sport, in Pristina, among which is the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education.  

Faculty is one of partner of Erasmus+ project “Improvement of Skills of Sports Administrators through International Mobility“ (S2A Sport Mobility), with elementary guidelines discussed on the meeting held in February 25th and 26th.   

 Dean of the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education Stevo Popovic, PhD said guidelines and methodology for the project are defined that should improve skills of sports administrators or employees in sports organizations, federations and/or clubs.

„Most selected participants in the project, 80% is from countries of Western Balkans (Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia) while 20% of them will be from EU countries. Through mobility, they will participate in transnational programs for sports administration as well as study visits in countries that participate in the project. Administration in sport is important, since their skills define effective organization of sport and sport activities”, Popovic explained.  

Project funded by European Commission started with implementation on January 1st and it will last for 18 months.  

Partners in this project are eight organizations: European Observer for Sport and employment – EOSE (coordinator) EU / FR, University in Chester (UK), University Catholique de Louvain (BE), European Association for Sports Management - EASM (DE / EU), Faculty for Sport and Physical Education UMNE (Montenegro), National Olympic Committee of Albania, National Olympic Committee of Kosovo and National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
