Award-Winning Essay by Journalist Marko Perovic: Domains of Human Body are Unexplored and the Mind as Well

Sports journalist at Radio of Montenegro and Kick Boxing Federation of Montenegro Secretary Marko Perovic won the first prize in the international competition for the best essay on "Sport and Physical Activity in Isolation Caused by a CoronaVirus", as decided by expert committee from the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro.

Perovic has been involved in journalism for five years and so far, he has received awards for his contribution to the development of karate and Jiu jitsu sports in our country. Behind him are two successful years in the Kick Boxing Federation. Formerly an athlete, a representative of our country, now a sports worker, today, as he says, he closely follows all events in domestic sports and tries to promote sports and healthy lifestyles every day.

He applied for the competition, announced by the Faculty with the Montenegrin Sports Academy and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, with a desire to make a personal contribution to the development of the sport.

"The primary motivation was the ability to express the views and experience of the current situation caused by the coronavirus, to test one's own creative capacity, as well as the satisfaction for future work," Perovic said.

From his essay, he distinguishes Tommy Lasorda's thought: "The difference between the possible and the impossible lies in human determination," and adds his lines:

"Follow your dreams, be persistent and believe in success. Many argue that fears and boundaries are generally just an illusion. Every day evidence emerges on domains of the human body as unknown, and yet of the mind! "

He leaves to readers to appreciate the part they find interesting, and recommends a segment that points to psychophysical characteristics and improves quality of life.
