The celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University of Montenegro and the 35th anniversary of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje was enriched by a significant artistic exhibition titled Positions, Movements, Borders. Opened on April 28, 2024, in the atrium of the technical faculties in Podgorica, the exhibition was one of the key events marking the central three-day celebration of the University’s founding.

The conceptual foundation of the exhibition reflects on contemporary society, characterized by constant transformations, where themes of identity, movement, and borders are central to artistic exploration.

The exhibition featured works by professors and associates of the Faculty of Fine Arts, encompassing diverse artistic media. Participants included Ana Matić, Draško Dragaš, Ivana Radovanović, Jovo Petričević, Lazar Pejović, Lidija Nikčević, Maja Šofranac, Marija Kapisoda, Marko Marković, Milena Jovićević, Nataša Đurović, Ratko Odalović, Predrag Milačić, Sandra Đurović, Suzana Pajović, Vesna Bošković, Vladimir Đuranović, Zdravko Delibašić, and Željko Reljić.

The exhibition also had an international dimension, as it was a reprise of the Armory of Arts exhibition previously held in Gdańsk, Poland, where it was inaugurated by the rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Dr. hab. Krzysztof Polkowsky. This collaboration was realized within the Erasmus+ program, further strengthening ties between the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje and the Academy in Gdańsk.
