In line with previous arrangements regarding the organization of thematic content in exercises for the course INTRODUCTION TO SOCIO-CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY, this week we continue to present theoretical directions in anthropology. Attached is a brief summary of the development of American culturalism with the original text of one of the representatives of this direction - Clifford Gerz, which outlines the basic premises of cultural relativism.
