Lecture by Slavica Stamatović Vučković about Life of Olgivana Lojd Rajt

On the occasion of the Womens History Month, organized by the American corner, vice dean for international cooperation, Slavica Stamatović Vučković, Assistant Profesor, will talk about Olga (Ivanova) Lazović, the granddaughter of Marko Miljanov - a brave and unusual woman who found herself far from her native Montenegro from the age of nine. Searching for deepest layers of a human being at the Institute for the Harmonious Development, the spiritual teacher and mystic G.I. Gurdjieva, she traveled a long way through Russia, Turkey, France, before she met the famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright in Chicago in 1924, with whom, as Mrs. Wright, she founded the Taliesin Fellowship (1932) and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation (1940). ) and thus dance your "cosmic dance" with architecture.

The lecture will be held in the Multimedia Hall of CHC Budo Tomović in Podgorica, on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, starting at 7 p.m.
