Prof.dr Amir Pašić’s lecture held

As Faculty of Architecture of the University of Montenegro’s guest, ScD Amir Pašić held a lecture on the topic of “The urge for new education in architecture”.

Out of a rich experience, as a pedagogue at over 30 universities worldwide, a commissions’ for preservation of historical monuments representative, architectural adviser at the research center of Islamic history, OIC, art and culture (IRCICA) in Istanbul, he exemplified a number of good educational practices, bringing up his own experience at prestigious universities such as MIT, Harvard, Columbia, UPenn, York, La Sapienza, King Saud, Mimar Sinan…) He also recalled some of the planning experiences he has had, having been in charge of four major projects in urban protection and primarily in restoration.

ScD Amir Pašić is the author or co-author of 21 books and 52 articles, and is also the author of nomination dossier for the property WH “Old Town Mostar” (2005). Pašić is the regional magazine editor of “Cultural menagement and sustainable development“ in London.
