Development of Scientific Database of Top Futsal Players

Lecturers and associates of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro continued anthropometric testing of top athletes in region, in Croatian Futsal club Zrinjski from Mostar. The Club Zrinjski is the member of Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina who will compete in play off for the state champion and role of finalist of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Club players were tested by Dusko Bjelica, PhD, Stevo Popovic, PhD, Jovan Gardasevic, MSc and Ivan Vasiljevic, MSc, and were supported by colleague from the Faculty of Natural Science Mathematics and Education of the University of Mostar, Marina Corluka.

 ‘This is the third club by which we expand our database through testing athletes that will be used for scientific research. We tested champions of the Premier league of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FC Mostar SG Starograd then players of the FC Brotonjo in Citluk. We will continue testing in Bosnia and Herzegovina’, Jovan Gardasevic, MSc said.

The Faculty of Sports and Physical Education work on creation of databases of players and futsal clubs in region, especially observing clubs to play qualifications for competitions in Europe.
