Papers of the last MSA Conference Published in the April issue of MJSSM

The original scientific papers presented at the recently held video conference of the Montenegrin Sports Academy, in front of about 200 scientists from 46 countries, found their place in the new edition of the Montenegrin Journal of Sports Sience and Medicine, in which their abstracts were published.

An electronic edition of this journal is already available at: http://www.csakademija.me/conference/download/MJSSM_April_2020.pdf

The editors-in-chief of this journal are Ph.D. Dr. Duško Bjelica, Ph.D. Dr. Stevo Popovic, in the introductory words to this issue, expressed their gratitude to all scholars for participating in a conference that promotes and develops the sports sciences through networking, study and research.

"This year, for a conference supported by the Central European Initiative (CEI), we put together a high-profile science program with plenary and parallel sessions (oral and poster)," it is saind in the introduction word.

The papers presented in the new issue cover topics from the conference in the fields of biological and medical sciences, behavioral and social sciences, humanities and arts and social research, policies and practices related to contemporary perspectives on sports, physical activity and health.

The editors believe that the conference was a forum for the latest research, theoretical and applied insights into the field of sports and related disciplines, and that this year the conference also contributed to the development of global approaches in various specialized fields and a broader view of the sports sciences.

With the traditional sponsorship of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and in cooperation with the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Montenegro, the conference organized by MSA, as they pointed out, owes to the support of partners, including especially partner universities from France, Germany, Portugal, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, then the University of Montenegro and university units.

This year, for the first time, in the last 17 years, the conference was held online, due to the special circumstances caused by the global pandemic and the implementation of measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

Papers published in the MJSSM Journal have been accepted and presented abstracts (oral or in presentation), within this conference.

MJSSM is indexed in world bases such as WOS, Scopus, Index Copernicus, DOAJ, SCImago, SPORTDiscus, ERIH PLUS, ProQuest, Open Academic Journals Index, Google Scholar, SHERPA/RoMEO, Crossref, NLM Catalog, Islamic World Science Citation Center, and ROAD.

In a letter of thanks, the organizers wished all participants better times and to already book dates for the 18th edition of the conference to be held in Cavtat, Croatia, 2021, April 8-11.
