After passing this exam, the student will be able to: 1. choose the appropriate materials for the construction of the masonry structure; 2. master the principles of designing masonry structures; 3. solve simple calculation models of masonry structure; 4. check the bearing capacity of non-reinforced masonry structures and structures with vertical cerclages; 5. recognize the causes of damage and propose methods of rehabilitation and strengthening of the masonry structure.
