Meeting of representatives of the international project REEHUB plus within the INTERREG IPA-CBC cross-border cooperation program Italy-Albania-Montenegro

Last week, a management meeting was held within the INTERREG IPA-CBC project REEHUB PLUS, which was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Architecture UCG, and representatives of partner institutions from Italy and Albania, and was organized online through the Zoom platform, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This project is a continuation of the project Regional Energy Efficiency Hub REEHUB (Regional Energy Efficiency Hub), within which the Center for Energy Efficiency and 3D Technology was established at the Faculty of Architecture UCG, as part of a network of all partner institutions in cross-border cooperation Italy-Albania- Montenegro. The basic idea of ​​this realized international partnership project was that public buildings should be an example of best practice for energy saving, and in the continuation through REEHUB PLUS concrete examples of energy audits of buildings will be realized, as well as trainings and trainings related to their methodology.

The meeting was attended on behalf of the team of the Faculty of Architecture by Irena Rajković, MSc, project manager, who spoke about the activities and goals within the T2 work package, regarding standards and training programs for energy audits, as well as external financial expert Biljana Trtica Vujanić gave a report on financial-administrative activities in the project. The main goals of the work package, for which the Faculty of Architecture, UCG, is also responsible within the project, is to provide knowledge and methods for the purpose of evaluating the energy performance of buildings.

At the meeting of partners, they talked about the realized activities, future tasks and goals, which need to be achieved in the next period within the work packages. Also, the possibility of a possible extension of the project for six months was considered, in order to realize all activities and achieve all the required results, which was slowed down in some part by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, it was stated that the cooperation and communication between the partner institutions is at an enviable level and that the first reporting period was done in accordance with all the rules.
