The Day of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Montenegro was marked through a series of activities
On the occasion of marking the Day of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Montenegro and three decades since the adoption of the Declaration on Ecological Montenegro, the Faculty of Architecture today organized a series of activities at various locations. On the campus of the University of Montenegro, the Interaction Pavilion designed by third year students of this Faculty was officially opened, while the UCG Rectorate awarded diplomas to graduates and a seminar entitled: "Trends in architecture based on the concepts of energy efficiency and passive house".

Svetlana Perović , PhD said that this year the Faculty marks 19 years of existence of the study program, and that everyone will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the achieved results of the ATF, through a publication entitled "Faculty of Architecture UoM 2016-2020".

“I would like to point out that, since taking office as the Dean of the Faculty, since December, we have opened numerous issues and directions for further action, partnership engagements, international projects and accompanying activities, and I believe that these efforts will have full effect soon. We are in a situation where we will send almost half of the teaching staff to retirement next year, but at the same time, the Faculty will get new doctors of science, who will be ready to take on the role of lecturer", she explained.
During the opening of the Pavilion, the Rector of the University of Montenegro full prof. Vladimir Božović, PhD expressed an exceptional part on the occasion of the opening of an interactive space, which he stated was a direct expression of the top creativity of students at the University of Montenegro.
“I believe that unlike some disciplines, to which I belong, and in which creativity is threatened in some formulas, papers or mostly illegible forms, here it is clear and visible that the creativity of students of the Faculty of Architecture manifests itself in full scope and full strength and beauty.” he said.
Dean Perović thanked for the financial support of the Ministry of Ecology of Spatial Planning and Urbanism, the Capital, Studio K, UNDP, the contractor ANNI Engineering, the Rectorate of UCG, and expressed special gratitude to full prof. Milena Stavrić, PhD from Austria who participated in the role of mentor on this task, without any compensation and the rector of the University of Montenegro full prof. Vladimir Božović, PhD, who was presented with a letter of thanks.
