Euro-Mediterranean University EMUNI, seated in Piranha, launched on December 21 the Euro-Mediterranean Innovation Camp (EMIC), which, in addition to the Union for the Mediterranean, was supported (financially) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Slovenia, and the Jožef Štefan Institute and Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez, Morocco. Aim of the project is to encourage young innovators from Euro-Mediterranean countries (age limit: 18-35 years) to present an idea/innovation (areas: health, renewable energy sources, environment and climate change), which could potentially be marketed later on market. The project coincides with the efforts of the Union for the Mediterranean, among others, to strengthen the scientific research and innovation potential of young people from the Mediterranean area, which can contribute to their social inclusion and employability, promote economic development and prevent negative trends (migration, conflicts, radicalization, etc.).

More about the project at: https://emuni.si/innovationcamp/ as well as in submitted documents.

Application deadline for EMIC is February 3rd 2023.
