Exam Requirements for the Course: Methodology of Scientific Research

Students are required to submit a seminar paper of 10–15 pages, which must include the following elements:

  • Cover
  • Title page
  • Table of contents
  • Abstract (80–120 words)
  • Keywords: 5 terms
  • Introduction
  • Chapters
  • Conclusion
  • Bibliography in Harvard citation style: books, at least one scholarly article, and at least one web source

Citations must follow the Harvard style and include:

  • At least one direct quote
  • At least one shortened quote
  • At least one quote longer than three lines
  • At least one summary
  • At least one paraphrase
  • At least one footnote
  • A musical example (if applicable), correctly labeled

Upon submission, students must include a fully completed check-up list, indicating the page on which each required citation or element appears.

Naming conventions for submission:

  • Save the seminar paper as:
    MNR Name Surname JANUARY 2022
  • Save the check-up list as:
    CHECK UP Name Surname JANUARY 2022

On the day of the exam, each candidate reviews the assigned student paper, corrects it if necessary, and completes the check-up list for the reviewed work.
