After passing this exam, students will be able to: Describe basic and specific characteristics of the tourism market, as well as to discuss about tourism in the context of global processes; Point out the key characteristics of tourism management (destination management); Explain the segmentation process of the tourist market; Discuss about planning, organizing and controlling activities in tourism; Explain the management of tourist product, price, sales channels and promotion of the tourism sector; Analyse the strategic management of the tourist destinations; Analyze and classify independently or in a group certain cases of tourism practices through case study analysis;
