Footballers of FC Iskra Danilovgrad, participants in the pre-qualification for the Europe League, have been tested




Professors of Faculty for Sport and Physical Education of University of Montenegro continued with anthropometric measurements and have tested first team players of FC Iskra from Danilovgrad who are preparing their debut performance on euro stage in pre-qualification for Europe League.


FC Iskra is founded in 1919 and is one of the oldest clubs in Montenegro. Since season 2015/2016 club competes in First league of Montenegro, and have finished last season at 3rd place and provided self a pre-qualification for Europe League.


At testing there was coach of Iskra footballers Aleksandar Nedovic and fitness coach Dane Zegarac and they got complete insight into morphologic diagnostic indicators, values of subcutaneous adipose tissue, muscle tissue, hydration of the organism, basal metabolism and complete segmental body analysis.


Measurement was performed by Dusko Bjelica, PhD, Jovan Grdasevic, PhD and Ivan Vasiljevic, PhD.


Professor Bjelica expressed gratitude to club president Blazo Saranovic and coaches of FC Iskra from Danilovgrad and wished them luck in debut performance in pre-qualification in Europe League.


Diagnostics in sport is fundamental and inseparable part of planning process, control and training process realization, and parameters obtained by certain diagnostics are very significant for creating mesocycle and mikrocycle, concluded professor Bjelica.
