FSM Organizes International Conference on Topic of Elementary Particles

The Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Montenegro is the organizer of the international conference Resummation, Evolution, Factorization 2022 (REF2022), which will be held from October 31 to November 4, 2022.

The conference brings together researchers who deal with the phenomenology of particle physics, which is based on the measurable consequences of the existence of fundamental metal particles in nature and their interactions. The conference focuses on phenomenological models based on the distributions of partons (quarks and gluons) by transverse momentum (TMD) and their connection with Monte Carlo event generators, as well as the latest experimental results that lead to obtaining these distributions at the energies available at the Large Hadron Collider - LHC, HERA and future accelerators such as the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC).

As was the case in the previous two years, this year the conference will be held in an online format.

The Conference will be organized within the Project "The strong interaction at the frontier of knowledge: fundamental research and applications" (acronym - STRONG 2020) from program HORIZON 2020 with the University of Montenegro as one of the partners.

For all questions concerning the conference you may address to prof. Natasa Raicevic who chairs the organization board (natasar@ucg.ac.me).
