Lecture by Nikola Vukcevic, PhD, in China: Education in Filming: Among Art, Craft and Media

At the call of Communication University of China from Beijing and their faculty Television School, faculty of Communication and Journalism, Nikola Vukčević, PhD, Associate Professor of FTV directing on the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Montenegro had the opportunity to annual Conference titled Annual Conference of the Broadcast and New Media Research Association – BNMR, Xuzhou present its paper named: EDUCATION IN FILMING PROCESS: BETWEEN ART, CRAFT AND MEDIA (FDU CETINJE APPROACH), at the beginning of November.

Since this year’s Conference had moto REIMAGINING MEDIA: EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND GLOBALIZATION, paper presented by colleague Vukcevic had drawn the attention – he was one of five presenters (two papers/presenters were form the USA, one from China, one from Serbia) who provided focus for the first day of the Conference attended by about 200 participants both domestic and international.

Paper presented by Professor Vukcevic, elaborated illustrative process of education of students of FTV directing in the Study Program FTV directing FDA Cetinje (and his transformation into Film and Media) through education of young people in domain of working on drama text, working with actors, technology, and role of form and structure in forming examination papers in the course Film Directing. After presentation, there were questions of attendees that lasted about half an hour.  

Out of Colleagues from the Balkans, the conference was attended by Dean of the Academy of Arts Novi Sad, Full Professor Mr. Sinisa Bokan.
