Radio drama „1938“, Specialisation Paper by Iva Kasalica, on RTMNE

Radio drama „1938“, by author Iva Kasalica, will be aired on the First Program of Radio Montenegro on Monday (November 25^th), from 23:00 in regular term for airing radio-dramas. This is about defensed specialization paper on study program Production – The Faculty of Drama Arts where Kasalica graduated bachelor studies.  

„1938“ is made based on motives of radio drama ‘War of Worlds’ by Orson Wels that in 1938 was aired in the United States of America via CBS radio network and numerous historic sources witness that American audience was convinced that Martians were coming. What would happen if Martians landed in Montenegro at the same time as in America? How would it be shown by media? What would Montenegrins do? Would a pre-war state influence their reaction and how?

Scenario for radio drama is signed by Teodora Kipa, and roles are played by Andrija Rašović, Danilo Malović, Miloš Milačić, Milica Mušikić, Andrija Radović, Vuk Draganić, Nikola Tomić, Milo Vučinić, Matija Jovanović, Tamara Pavićević, Milorad Milatović, Zorana Tošić, Nikola Nikolić, Ivana Kadić, Blažo Marković, Filip Šipčić, David Todorović, Lazar Šipčić, Luka Pejović and Aleksa Đurović.

Project is implemented in cooperation with RTMNE and FDA and mentor was Vuk Vuković, PhD.

As a reminder, Kasalica’s final paper ‘ The Art of Science’ from subject Radio production was shown in gallery ‘Miodrag Dado Djuric’ in Cetinje as well as on exhibition in KASK within EPS 2019 conference in Genta (Belgium) that was held from 10^th to 17^th July this year.
