Having passed this course, the student will be able to: have the knowledge of the origin and development of swimming and swimming sports techniques and their importance; know the notion of selection in swimming; analyse biomechanical and anatomic characteristics of swimmers; describe and practically present the technique and methodology of water lifeguarding; methodologically describe the technique of lifeguarding.
