Montenegrin scientific journal "Montenegrin Journal of Sports Science and Medicine" established a new Award - the Award for outstanding sport results on the international level and promotion of Montenegrin sport and values.

The first winners of this award are students at the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education, University of Montenegro: handball player at "AEK" in Athens - Ana Milačić, Montenegrin basketball player and player for basketball team 'Valencia' from Spain - Bojan Dubljević and karate player from "Omladinac" Podgorica - Mario Hodžić.

Hodzić received his award at Faculty day ceremony at the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education, and the basketball player Dubljević and the handball player Milačić will be subsequently awarded.

"Montenegrin Journal of Sports Science and Medicine" is the only Montenegrin scientific journal that is indexed in the two most prestigious databases Web of Science and Scopus, which occupies a leading position when it comes to scientific journals.

"With the establishment of the Award, which will become a tradition of this magazine we aim to encourage young people to achieve better athletic performances and to promote the values of Montenegrin sport," said Editor-in-Chief. Duško Bjelica, PhD.

Handball player Ana Milačić, a graduate student in the study program for Sports Trainers for Handball, with Greek club 'AEK' won the title of champion of Greece and the Greek Cup.

Dubljević, the Center in "Valencia", despite the great players who played in the ACB league, in May this year was named for the player of the month.
