After passing the exam, the student will be able to: Develop an interest in sociological understanding and research of society • adopt fundamental sociological knowledge in explanations of social reality • understand different social relations, phenomena and processes in a common and wider social context with special emphasis on contemporary society • develop critical relationship, opinion and expression of social views on social relations, phenomena, processes and their sociological interpretations • observe the influence of social position, role and status on the formation of attitudes, values and identity as the basis of individual and collective behavior • develop interest and sensitivity to social issues and problems . , as well as encourage tolerance towards social and cultural differences.
