On the Faculty of Political Sciences total of 140 Budget Vacancies for Enrolment into First Year of Studies

The Faculty of Political Science at the University of Montenegro is once again opening its doors to new generations of students who wish to build professional careers in the fields of politics, international relations, journalism, media, social policy, and social work.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, a total of 140 state-funded vacancies have been allocated for first-year undergraduate students, distributed among the following study programs:

·         60 places for the Political Science – International Relations program

·         40 places for the Media Studies and Journalism program

·         40 places for the Social Policy and Social Work program

This decision was made based on the proposal of the Council of the Faculty of Political Science and was adopted at the sessions of the Senate and the Board of Directors of the University of Montenegro. The proposals have been submitted to the Government of Montenegro, and following government approval, a public call for enrolment will be announced across all organizational units of the University.

No entrance exam is required for admission to undergraduate studies. Candidates who have completed a general secondary school (gymnasium) or a four-year vocational high school are eligible to apply. Ranking of applicants is based on academic performance during secondary school, in accordance with the Rules on Conditions, Criteria, and Procedures for Enrolment at undergraduate level at the University of Montenegro.

Interest in this faculty remains consistent year after year, with most places typically filled during the first application round.

The Faculty of Political Science offers students a high-quality education that combines theoretical and practical knowledge. Practical training is a mandatory part of the study program and is conducted in cooperation with various institutions, including embassies, ministries, municipalities, media outlets, social work centres, and NGOs. This gives students the opportunity to become familiar with real-world professional environments during their studies, making them competitive on both the domestic and international job markets.

Details about the call for applications, deadlines, and the application process will be published in due time on the official website of the University of Montenegro: www.ucg.ac.me
