Visit of prof. Dr. Izet Šabotić to the Institute of History

Prof. Dr. Izet Šabotić from the Faculty of Philosophy in Tuzla, made a visit to the Institute of History of the UCG and on that occasion presented a gift in the form of several books and magazines. From August 1994, he worked at the Tuzla Canton Archives, and from 2002 to 2014, he was the director of the Tuzla Canton Archives. At the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Tuzla, he was engaged in several courses in the narrow scientific field of "New Century" and "Archivistics". He is the author and co-author of 12 books and 6 textbooks, and more than 320 scientific and professional works in the field of history and archival science, published in several domestic and foreign reference journals. He is the editor and reviewer of more than 80 books in the field of history and archival science. He is currently the executive director of the Center for Modern and Contemporary History Research, Tuzla, and the editor of the reference scientific journal Historical Views, indexed in Scopus.
