Learning outcomes:

Upon successfully passing the exam, students will be able to: - Explain the basic principles of electromechanical energy conversion and their application to renewable energy sources. - Describe the formation of a rotating magnetic field in an electric machine. - Explain how synchronous and asynchronous generators operate and understand their role in converting mechanical energy into electrical energy - Understand the process of converting wind energy, the kinetic energy of sea waves, and the potential energy of water masses into electrical energy. - Describe how permanent magnets are modeled and their role in electromechanical converters.
