Boban Banjac – presented with the Plaque of the University of Montenegro in the field of medical sciences
Boban Banjac, student at the Faculty of Medicine (10.00) has been awarded recently with a Plaque for completed studies with the best success in the field of medical sciences. Speaking about the path to success, he pointed out that medicine is not just a profession, but a way of life composed of many challenges.
After completing high school, Boban enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro in Podgorica in 2014. He acquired the title of doctor of medicine on July 23, 2020. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica on time, with an average grade of A (10.00).
During all his years of study, he was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education for talented students, as well as the winner of the annual student awards of the Faculty of Medicine. He is also the winner of the Award of the University of Montenegro for the best student of the Faculty of Medicine, for the academic year 2019/2020.
He is currently working as an intern at the Health Care Center Podgorica. He is also engaged at the Department of Pathological Physiology, as a professional teaching associate. His area of interest is internal medicine groups. He is fluent in English.
I would tell my future colleagues to think carefully, before choosing a college. "Medicine is an extremely demanding, difficult and responsible profession. On the other hand, the profession is humane and gives the privilege to heal people and save lives."
He advises his current colleagues "to take your vocation very responsibly and to dedicate themselves to it to the maximum. Knowledge is a power we can rely on in the most difficult moments of our future practice. We must all work to improve the quality of health services and strengthen the reputation of the medical profession.”
The Acting Rector full prof. Vladimir Božović, PhD, presented Boban with the Plaque on April 29, as part of the celebration of the Day of the University of Montenegro.
