Iva Drekalović – the best student of the Music Academy for the study 2021/22 year

"This award is a special acknowledgment for me, and a great motivation for further work. It represents a special honour because it comes from the prestigious institution such is the University of Montenegro." said the best student of the Music Academy of the University of Montenegro Iva Drekalović(average grade 9.97) who was awarded for the best success during the study 2021/22 year.

"Practice in performing is the most important for musicians. Considering this situation with the pandemic, which shook the music community, and life in general, we did not have many opportunities to perform. But, the Music Academy, in cooperation with the KotorArt Festival, managed to organize two concerts in 2020 and 2021", added Iva and said that she had the honour to perform at both.

Iva is currently at the exchange programme, at the Conservatorium Giuseppe Tartini in Trieste, and said that she is very satisfied with the education she gained at the Music Academy in Cetinje.
