After passing the exam, students can: • describe historical circumstances in Montenegro from the end of the Middle Ages to the present day; • recognize the cultural characteristics of different periods in Montenegrin history; • Make an overview of the most significant cultural and historical events on Montenegrin soil from the Renaissance to the contemporary challenges of Montenegrin multiculturalism; • Argumentatively discuss the importance of certain cultural and historical events in Montenegro; • get acquainted with the main trends of Montenegrin culture in the 20th century and acquire basic knowledge from various fields of culture and art, • identify the most important Montenegrin cultural workers and their works.
