As a special form of support for closer cooperation between business and science, the president of the Board of Directors of CEDIS, Rajko Radošević, together with his associates, organized a meeting with the dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, prof. Saša Mujović, Ph.D., and Goran Kovačević, Ph.D., president of the CIRED Montenegro committee, with the aim of intensifying the already extremely fruitful cooperation between ETF and CEDIS in areas of mutual interest, and special emphasis was given to the development of faculty support opportunities for the management team of the CIRED Montenegro national committee. CIRED Montenegro is a branch of one of the leading international organizations in the field of electricity distribution - International conference on electricity distribution CIRED, where the best international practice in electricity distribution management is presented.

Dean ETF prof. Saša Mujović, Ph.D., said that the cooperation offered is mutually significant and gives full support to the initiative.

An excellent initiative that can be further elaborated in order to make a step forward in current practice. Apart from the fact that we will nominate our scientific staff who will be part of CIREDs committees, this form of cooperation is an incentive for students to participate in CIREDs work, given that there is a practice to attach at least one conference paper when preparing masters theses, he said. Dr. Saša Mujović, dean of ETF.

The President of CIRED Montenegro, Dr. Goran Kovačević, with gratitude for the support of the ETF, expressed his opinion for the further affirmation of CIRED Montenegro and its integration into the economy. He considers it no less significant that the new concept of CIREDs work will facilitate the process of reaching conference work.

In our country, we have a situation where multi-million dollar projects were completed that were not published at all. I consider that a missed opportunity and that practice must be changed. It is a process but things have to move from this current point. That will be the task of CIRED Montenegro in the coming period, Kovačević said.

The proposal of the president of CIRED, about a specific form of assistance from that organization to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, in the field of candidate topics for diploma and masters theses, received exceptional support. Professor Mujović said that this is the path to the quality of both the faculty and CEDIS. This creates a staff that tackles the problem. The time of invented scientific topics is behind us. We must make progress in such a way that current topics are the subject of student papers. CIRED, as a leading organization in this field, can really help to nominate topics that get to the heart of the problem and that students should deal with in their work. Those students will be the strength of the development of CEDIS and other energy companies tomorrow, Mujović emphasized.Chairman of the Board of Directors of CEDIS, Rajko Radošević, referring to the excellent cooperation the company has with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, said that such meetings are extremely important in connecting the economy and scientific institutions, and their ultimate goal is the formation of the professional staff that CEDIS moves forward. CEDIS will support the CIRED Montenegro national committee and its cooperation with ETF with all its capacities, which, we are sure, will contribute to increasing the technical competence of our engineers and thus help in creating even better company staff, Radošević concluded.
